Use of Rome. Fragment. Origin: [Italy: c.1100]. Description: Manuscript on parchment. 2 fragments of leaves. 31 x 19.5; 31 x 28.5 cm. Double columns of 30 lines. Textblock: 29 x 18 cm. Binding: Unbound. Comments: Written in a late Carolingian minuscule script in black and red inks, rubricated, with musical notation in adiastematic neumes, lightly ruled. Both leaves cut down on four sides; removed from old binding. Decoration: None. Provenance: (1) John Howell's Bookstore, San Francisco, 1969. (2) Decherd Turner, Dallas.
