Quantitative Research Tool
Qualtrics presents users with an array of easy to use, professional-grade toolsets for quantitative research. As of this year, all SMU faculty, staff, and students can access Qualtrics with their SMU credentials at smu.edu/
OIT/Qualtrics.
Currently, there are 267 Qualtrics users in 23 groups. Since January 1, 2014, 758 surveys have been gen- erated 33,098 responses. Our most active surveys include an SMU Newlywed Project Diary, Dallas Hall LEEDS, the Peruna Prof, and the study of attitudes
about disciplinary techniques.

Objective 2: Ongoing critical review of programs to ensure excellence through enhanced academic expectations and rigorous academic evaluation, accommodating new edu- cational ventures and implementing discontinuance proce-
dures for those inconsistent with the University’s focus.
Classroom Technology Standards
OIT collaborated with representatives from schools and depart- ments across campus to define classroom technology standards. These equipment guidelines for different class sizes and school specific designs have been added to the Design Guidelines and Construction Standards Manual. This will increase the efficiency of
the cost estimate process for classroom technology upgrades.
