Table Information for STDNT_GRPS_HIST:

Table: STDNT_GRPS_HIST - Student Group History

Short Description: Student Group populations

Long Description: Shows students and their Student Groups. Defaults to current date but does have history, with active and inactive status dates.

Useful Fields:

Field Name	Field Descr
EMPLID	Student/Person ID number
STDNT_GROUP	Code for Student Group
EFFDT	Date the data or action takes effect
EFF_STATUS	Active or inactive as of effective date

Criteria Notes:

Begin with this table to base a query on a Student Group population

Do not use table STDNT_GRP. STDNT_GRP only lists who was ever in a student group, as opposed to who is active in a student group as of a specified date.

For International Students, use STDNT_GRP = INSV (history is not maintained)

For Athletics, use STDNT_GRP like AT%

For First Year Cohort groups, combine F and last three term digits. (Ex. F057 is Fall 2005 First Years)

For Transfer Cohort group, combine T with last three term digits (Ex. T992 is Spring 1999 Transfers)

For Readmit Cohort group, combine R with last three term digits (Ex. R077 is Fall 2007 Readmits)

For Evening Bachelors Cohort group, combine E with last three term digits (Ex. R067 is Fall 2006 Readmits). Group begins in Fall 2006.

Summer admits are placed into the following Fall Cohort group.
