Table Information for ACAD_PLAN:

Table: ACAD_PLAN - Student Academic Plan Table

Short Description: Students and their Acad Plans

Long Description: Lists which students are in which Academic Plans (majors, minors, etc.) at any point in time. Defaults to current date, but does contain history. Acad Plans belong to Acad Program or to a Career, and Acad Programs belong to Acad Groups. Plans shared acorss programs are attached to ACAD_CARER. For example, minors.

Useful Fields:

Field Name	Field Descr
EMPLID	Student/Person ID number
ACAD_CAREER	Code for Academic Career. Value attached to the student.
STDNT_CAR_NBR	Career Number assigned to Academic Program
EFFDT	Date the data or action takes effect
EFFSEQ	Sequence for actions with the same Effective Date
ACAD_PLAN	Code for Academic Plan, or Major/Minor
DECLARE_DT	Date the Academic Plan declared
PLAN_SEQUENCE	Sequence for order of Acad Plans (lowest number is Primary Plan)
REQ_TERM	Term used in degree, DPR requirements
COMPLETION_TERM	Term the Program/Plan was completed

Criteria Notes:

You should start at ACAD_PROG and then join to ACAD_PLAN.

If you do not want minors then add criteria: ACAD_PLAN not like %MN

When joining to ACAD_PROG, do not join by EFFSEQ
