I donated a paver in honor of my son and SMU alum, Mike Carrell. Mike started to SMU in Fall of 1994, and his Dad passed away on January 3, 1995, jut a few months after Mike had started at SMU. Mike's Dad was a huge SMU fan, graduated in 1967 and was a loyal member of the Mustang Band.

After Mike's dad passed away, SMU literally saved his life. His fraternity brothers and other SMU friends carried him through his grief until he could stand strong again. Mike is the best SMU fan, supporter, and alum I know. He just loves SMU and I wanted him to have a Centennial paver at SMU.
